Stila Seeing Stars Smudge Stick Eye Liner Set

As you may, or may not know, I recently won the Stila Seeing Stars Smudge Stick Eye Liner set in a giveaway from I received it a couple of days ago, so thanks again!

I wanted to go ahead and swatch this for you guys and give a quick review in case this is something you were considering picking up as a last minute gift, or something you’ve considered getting for yourself.

This set comes with five smudge sticks.
The colors are:
Black with silver and gold glitter.
Light beige, I’d compare it to the color of Urban Decay-Sin.
Deep purple with shimmer.
Olive green with gold & green shimmer
Oscar Fish
Deep brown with bronze/gold shimmer
Here are a few swatches:
Stargazer, Angelfish, Tetra, Moray, Oscar Fish
You can really see the glitter in the second swatch because it’s a bit blurry.
I’ve always been a fan of Stila Smudge Sticks, but there are a few cons to them. I’ll list the pros & cons.
Long Lasting
Don’t smudge once set.
High Pigmentation
Stays on waterline
Applies Smoothly
Doesn’t need sharpened.
You have to twist it a ton to get more product to come up.
Some of these irritate your eyes a bit.
They contain very little product. Ex. these contain 0.28 g of product.
Urban Decay 24/7 pencils contain 1.2 g.
The lids tend to not want to stay on, so they dry out fairly quickly if you aren’t really careful.
They are pricey! ~$20 each!
This set costs $32 and can be purchased at
This is a $100 value!
Overall, I recommend this set.
For $32, you can’t really beat it.
I’ve always loved Stila Smudge Sticks, and I love these.
These are a nice range of neutral-ish colors, which I love, and they are the perfect colors for winter.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post!
