BA Star Cosmetics Palette

I received an eyeshadow palette from BA Star Cosmetics for review, free of charge. The palette I received was the Natural Shadow palette, which contains a light nude shade, a red-brown shade and a deep brown shade. This also includes two gel glitters, one gold & one crystal. This also comes with a dual ended brush, with a small brush on one end and a sponge applicator on the other.

The three eyeshadows are mineral shadows, and are pretty nicely pigmented, with the exception of the light nude shade that is actually pretty chalky. They all have quite a bit of fallout, but I expect that from most mineral shadows. They’re pretty blendable, but I find the lightest one really will blend away, and if you blend too much they just get muddy. Even with primer, they creased in about 5 hours.

The two gel glitters are just okay. The gold glitter hardly shows up at all, but the crystal glitter is absolutely beautiful. It has a rainbow of shades, and it’s so pretty. That being said, it seems that the glitter is in a vaseline type base, and for this reason, I can’t get it to work. I placed it on my lid with a base, it slides and creases in minutes. Same result over eyeshadow. Tried it just over eyeliner, and it did the same thing. I unfortunately couldn’t find a way to make this work for more than a couple of minutes. However, if you just want something for a quick photo shoot, this would be perfect!

Overall, this isn’t a bad palette. The colors are beautiful, the shades work nicely together, and the crystal glitter gel is also so, so pretty. That being said, wear time is unfortunately not great. The gel glitter has no wear time, unless you don’t mind insane creasing, and the shadows wear time is minimal. Without a primer, I’d say the shadows would crease in just a couple of hours.
If you’d like to try these shadows go to These retail for $8.75 per palette, but I also have a 50% off code for you, if you’d like.
The code is: BBSMOKY
They sell things other than just the palette, and the eyeshadows aren’t bad quality. I’d recommend checking them out if you’re interested!
Thanks for reading!
