Now, time for the review.
Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector
The shade I chose was Medium/Deep which, surprisingly, was too light for me.
When I first opened the tube, I got a huge surprise. That surprise was a mess. It’s so thin and liquid-y that it constantly spills from the tube.
It’s in a squeeze tube, but you don’t have to squeeze it to get product out.
I have yet to find a way to get it out of the tube without making a mess. It leaks all over the place.
Maybe this is my fault somehow, but I don’t think I’m completely impaired. Haha.
You can even see in the picture above how messy it looks, and you can see it all over the tip of the tube and in the lid.
Here it is running down my hand.
It’s really quite thin, which can be a good thing and a bad thing.
Here it is semi-blended. You can see that it’s too light for me, but I’ve been using it anyway, trying to test it out.
So, yes, it’s messy, but does it work?
This is another love/hate product, and if I had the correct shade, maybe I’d be able to give a better review.
As far as coverage, it covers pretty well. It evens my skin tone, covers redness, blurs pores, etc. It truly has great coverage, which surprised me considering its consistency.
That being said, I was also surprised in that it seems to sit on the skin for quite some time before sinking in. It makes me look like I’m wearing a mask, but I believe this is due to the wrong shade.
A little bit goes a very long way, so assuming you don’t spill all of the product from the tube, this should last you quite some time.
It blends pretty nicely with you hands, a brush is harder to work with. It gets brush streaks in it because of its consistency, and it takes forever to blend with the brush. So, I’d recommend just using your hands.
It has a bit of a scent, but it’s faint. I honestly don’t even know how to describe it, but it isn’t a strong scent, anyhow.
The shade range is terrible. There are only three shades.
Light/Medium, Medium/Deep, Deep
If there were more shades, I think this line would be much better.
Also, let me just say that it does dry matte. It doesn’t need powder, it dries to a soft, powder finish.
Do I recommend this?
Yes, I do, if you can get a color that matches you.
So, let’s sum it up!
  • Coverage is amazing
  • Easily Blended with your hands
  • Dries Matte
  • Inexpensive
  • Tube will last quite a while
  • Doesn’t clog pores or cause acne
  • Doesn’t need to be set with powder
  • SPF 20

  • Very runny and liquid-y
  • Messy
  • Hard to blend with a brush
  • Takes a little while to sink into the skin and set
  • Color range isn’t good
As you can see, the good definitely outweighs the bad!
So, I recommend checking this out!
This can be purchased from drugstores or Wal Mart.

***Since writing this review, I’ve tried this a few more times & it DID break me out. A lot!***

I intend to review more foundations and B.B. creams in the future.
