It’s time for my monthly Ipsy or My Glam bag post!
Here in a second I’ll show you everything I got this month, but first, here’s some quick info.
Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription service open to the U.S. and Canada. It’s $10 for the U.S. and $15 for Canada each month, shipping is free.
Each month you’ll receive 4-5 deluxe samples and full size products.
There are almost always 2-3 full size products, but there’s always at least 1.
To sign up, click here.
And, yes, that’s kind of an affiliate link, where instead of being paid, if enough people use my link to sign up, I’ll receive an extra product in my bag.
You in no way have to use my link, if you don’t want to, just go to Ipsy.com to sign up. 🙂
So, the bag is leopard and neon, which is surprisingly cute. I expected it to be much tackier, to be honest.
Let’s start with the first product I received:
Cailyn Gel Liner in Purple
This is a full size product and includes a brush. This is supposed to have 24 hour wear and it claims to be waterproof and smudge proof, we will see about that. This is full size and retails for $21.
Nyx Rouge Cream Blush in Orange
I’m not a cream blush fan, but I do really like this color, so I might have to give it a try. I just find cream products to be difficult to work with in the summer, because they tend to melt right off. This is full size and retails for $6.
Starlooks Lip Pencil in Tipsy.
This is a lip pencil, one of the ones you have to sharpen, which I’m not really a fan of, but it’s not a big deal at all. They’re supposed to be long wearing and full coverage. I’m pretty excited about this one, as the color is a bright pink-y coral, so it will work with most of my summer lipsticks.
This is full size and retails for $12.
J. Cat Beauty Sparkling Cream Palette.
This I’m not so excited about. I didn’t even open it to swatch it, because I know I’m not going to keep it. I’ve tried a million glitter palettes just like this one, and they don’t work for me. They never have good payoff and they’re always greasy and crease no matter what you do with them. It’s just no good for me. However, props to Ipsy for giving us something different, and I’m sure I can find someone who will love this. It’s just not for me. 🙂
This is full size and retails for $4.49.
Freeman Psssst! Dry Shampoo.
This is a dry shampoo, as the name suggests. Nothing special really, but is there anything really special about a dry shampoo? Nope. Haha. This one is the only product that’s not full size, and it’s travel size which works out great for me since I’m going on vacation in 10 days. I’m pretty excited to try a new dry shampoo, as I despised the Suave one.
The full size retails for $6.99 so this is probably around $3.
That’s the swatches of the eyeliner, lip pencil and blush, in that order.
So, I paid $10 for the bag.
The total value of the bag is: $46.49
I also received the Baublebar bracelets for referring two people last month.
I’m definitely excited to try these products out, and let me know if you’d like to see reviews for any of these.
