I’m supposed to be on a spending ban. Soon, you’ll see how horribly wrong that went.
I’ve been picking a few things up, just one thing at a time, and only from the drugstore.
Well, today I went to Sephora.
I only bought two things, (and one of them isn’t even for me!), but it was still a lot of money.
This is a somewhat small haul, but for someone on a spending ban, this is a lot.
Also, note that I’m going back to Sephora next week to pick up an Origins Moisturizer and Eye Cream.
I’ll review them for you, but not for a couple of months so I know if I really like them or not.
I can do a first impression sort of post if you’d like, let me know.
Anyway, back to the haul.
Let’s start with the drugstore haul…
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic: It’s a bright pink. I’ll do a review and swatches either tomorrow or next week. Purchased at Walmart for ~$8
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder: I’ve reviewed this before. I picked up a new one thinking it was a shade darker, and it’s actually lighter. The numbering system on these powders is SO confusing, a higher number does not mean a darker shade, FYI. I use this right now to set my under eye concealer because I’m just too dark for it. I’ll be picking up my beloved MAC MSF Natural in Medium soon, OR the new Urban Decay powder, I haven’t decided which. Purchased at Walmart for ~$5
L’oreal True Match Foundation in N5: I’ve always loved the True Match foundations. I prefer True Match Lumi, but they were out of my shade, so I’ll pick it up later this Spring. The True Match line has one of the best color options in the drugstore. They have separate ones for pink understones, yellow undertones and neutral undertones, and a nice shade range for each. AND, it’s under $10. Can’t be beaten. Want a full review? Let me know!
Kiss Eyelash and Brow Complete Kit: I didn’t purchase this, I won it from Kiss in their twitter giveaway. Let me know if you’d like to see a review.
Now, the Sephora haul…
Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio cologne: I purchased this for my husband for Valentine’s Day. He’s wanted it for a while now, but he’d never buy it for himself. I purchased it at Sephora for $85.
Nars Bronzing Powder in Laguna: I have the mini. I love the mini. I already put a huge dent in the mini, and I couldn’t risk running out, so here we are. This is something I told myself for YEARS was overpriced and not worth the money. It’s so worth the money. I love it. Also, it’s huge, it will last forever. Purchased at Sephora for $38.
That’s the collective haul!
It’s not much, but I was supposed to be on a spending ban. You can see how that went.
I did good for the first 3 weeks though! 🙂
Let me know if you’d like to see reviews on any of these products.
