The packaging is a pot with a screw off lid. It’s actually quite large even though .5 oz doesn’t sound like much. Many people don’t like the pots because they aren’t as sanitary but I’m the only one using it and I always wash my hands before touching it so I don’t have an issue with it.
It smells like an orange and it’s amazing. It also tastes like an orange, which is very nice since you end up eating a lot of your lip balm throughout the day.
Also, as you’ll notice above this helps with exfoliation. The texture isn’t totally smooth, it’s slightly grainy which I was surprised to find out that I liked. It’s not huge chunks or anything, it’s very fine and honestly barely noticeable but it does do a good job of exfoliating.
I like to put this on in the mornings while I put on my makeup and wipe it off before applying lipstick. Some days I just wear this all day long and I love it. It will last hours.
Also, it’s good to know that this company is 100% cruelty free and vegan.
I’m working on a blog post about it, but I’m in the process of moving to only purchasing products that are cruelty free, so I was very excited to hear that this product is and that’s one of the reasons I wanted to try it and review it for you guys!
I’m currently on the lookout for cruelty free shampoo, conditioner and skin care, so if you can help me out, I’d love it!
So, overall I love this product! I really recommend checking out this lip balm and everything else they have to offer. Let’s support this awesome cruelty free, vegan company!
*I was sent this lip butter sample for review from Teadora. I was not obligated to review it and I was not compensated for this review. My opinion is honest, as always.*
