Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation Review

This review is long overdue. I keep saying I’m going to post it and I don’t. I know, I suck.

Anyway, the point is I’m reviewing the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation today, so here are my thoughts.

I love the packaging on this. It’s adorable, and it looks really nice sitting on my makeup desk.

This also has a pump, which I totally appreciate. You’ll need to shake it up before you use it, because it has the little metal ball in it and shaking it is fun, okay?

The shade I have is 1.0 because I’m currently pale.

The formula on this is super thin, and one pump is more than enough for your entire face. I don’t like to apply this with a beauty blender, I prefer the Real Techniques Buffing Brush or my fingers.

This is light coverage, it doesn’t totally cover the redness on my face and it tends to sink into pores whether I prime my face or not.

I bought this after hearing a ton of amazing things about it from other bloggers and vloggers, so maybe my expectations were too high because I’m just not a big fan of this.

It tends to cling to dry patches on my skin, and I feel like it feels heavier than it should considering how thin the consistency is.

I have mixed feelings over this.

I don’t feel like this foundation is worth $39. It just doesn’t work for me as well as I had hoped. I definitely won’t repurchase it, and I’ll probably sell this bottle for about $25, because I don’t want to return it again since I already returned one bottle because the color was wrong.

So, overall it works for some people, and it looks amazing on some people, I’m just not one of those fortunate people. I really wanted to love this and I’m sad that I don’t.

I hope this review was helpful!

Thanks for reading!
