The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette is my latest obsession. I first saw it on Norvina’s Snapchat and new I needed it at that very second. I’ve recently picked it up, as you saw in my collective haul.
I’ve used this palette every single day since I got it and I must say, I’m in love.
The packaging is pink and velvet-y. It feels very nice but it grabs anything that touches it, so it won’t be long until it’s dirty and discolored, but that’s not really a concern for me. The palette itself is sturdy and has a nice mirror. Travelling with it won’t be an issue.
There are 14 colors in the palette, 11 are matte and 3 are metallic.
This is a very warm toned palette with lots of reds, pinks and oranges. I have gotten cooler toned looks from this palette as well. It’s actually quite versatile.
The shadows are extremely soft, so they do kick up a lot. You barely need to touch your brush to them to get enough product. Because of how soft they are, they’re super easy to blend and they’re actually quite pigmented. The formula is great across the entire palette and there’s not a shade that doesn’t perform. Even the metallics perform really well.
Swatches are left to right, top to bottom. One swipe, so primer.
This palette is perfect for fall, or anytime really. It just screams fall to me. I’ve been using it non-stop since I got it and I don’t plan to slow down.
Here are a couple of looks I did using this palette:
This palette is permanent, so there’s no need to rush out to get it if you’re on the fence. I do recommend it and I recommend at least seeing it in person before you make your decision.
You can grab it at Ulta, Sephora or the ABH Website for $42.
